I apologize because with my comments I made such a stir on the Forum. It was well-intended. When I was nine years old, I was first on top of Krofička and that with JOŽE VRŠNIK - Robanov. In 1959. The same year quite a few times alone. Instead of Joža, every Sunday in July and August I went to salt the sheep in Covnikove travnike. If the sheep weren't on the Roban side of Krofička, I went to look for them on the Logarska side. Sometimes even to Klemenča jama, then back to ute, salted them and sometimes over Vratni žleb and over Ruče and via Špilak to Kot. Sometimes from Ut straight down then left to Vratni žleb and to Kot. If there was more time, I looked for passages over Zadnje travnike to Škrbina and under the wall of Mala Ojstrica then to Kot. Sometimes from the top of Črni Hrib over Belšten to Škrbinski graben, then to Kot. Also via Veliki Lom from Kot and over Covnikove travnike on the Roban side past Kravja zijalka to the top of Krofička. And like that every vacation until the end of elementary school. Even later I often ended up in these beautiful parts. Of course I roamed Karavanke and Julijce too. Every year at least once more to Utah, or to Paradise, as one visitor writes. But don't send me to parliament. I'm not for there, because I don't know how to steal or lie. But if someone is interested in some "off-trail", I'll gladly advise.

Črni Hriber 31.5.2014
These days everything revolves around Matkov kot / Škaf, consequently the decision fell for Roban. All three participants (Geppo, Pika and JTrogar) of today's visit to R. kot are old acquaintances there and each with their variants. We decide for Črni Hriber.
7:10 we pack up from the parking lot at Robani towards their mountain hut. Just before eight we plunge into a concrete steepness that doesn't let up. No problems finding the path, everyone knows something anyway. At the junction we choose the variant that Dragot and I did on 19.5.2012. "Pikina" for another time. When we reach Covnikovi travniki there is still quite a bit of snow under the wall (the newly made trough is still hidden under snow) so we look for dry grass (10:15). These steep meadows are quite strenuous for ascent. We continue towards the saddle from which there is a fantastic view of KSA. But the passage is still very snowy, steep.... We decide for descent from Konj (Pikina idea). This is a rocky peak from which there is a wonderful view. Of course Janez first puffs to the top of Konj, then us two. The view is fantastic and the renovated shepherd's hut is barely visible deep below behind the ridge of drifted snow. Lucky that the wall of Konj is dry and we carefully descend to the snow (II.).
We prepare crampons and with Janez we designate "Piko" to make steps velik nasmeh

. Well, she had to do them on every snowfield after that. She did it in "0", we hardly needed crampons cool

. Towards the hut we almost slide down and Janez performs antics in the snow nasmeh

. But his mountain boots allow it….!! Janez, time to change them... zavijanje z očmi

They've probably been through quite a bit!
At the shepherd's hut (11:35) we rest. Someone apparently left the hut door open and snow has drifted inside, soaking the restorer's equipment jezen

. "Pika" of course carefully makes sure the door is closed.
Leave it closed if you don't know how to close it!!!
In Vratni žleb we expect another portion of snow. Quite a lot has accumulated and the slope is considerable!! We carefully cross the last three steep snowfields and we are on the green meadows of Movznik (13:01). Then just the descent past Knez - to Roban (15:30).
Nicely spent day in the mountains. Črni Hriber is dry to Covnikovi travniki. Visiting Ut and the shepherd's hut is still quite demanding in current conditions. There is still quite a bit of snow at key spots and requires caution... We didn't meet anyone on the entire path.

I would add - it was the last snowfield and you were in a hurry to the green meadows of Strelovec. The steps you made no longer met our "standards", so we withdrew behind the wall.

drapr ( chamomile tea you'll have with you when we go together ) - without your presence we agreed that next is exploration of Križevnik wall ( you of course along ). Yesterday we already made outline of the path to the top of the wall. Just a couple snow patches still need to melt...

Today I walked this route from Robanov kot to the shepherd's hut then also to Strelovec. Weather held despite some scary forecasts from weathermen about afternoon thunderstorms. So first a more demanding tour was planned which of course as I later saw wouldn't have worked out, it will have to be done separately. At the shepherd's hut got company from a local expert who revealed quite a few variants of ascent routes to Križevnik and various other crossings. Then a friendly man and lady came. The man opened the hut and aired it, we chatted a bit, didn't get names, too bad mrk pogled

Said goodbye and headed on to Strelovec, strange clouds racing across the sky so from the top straight to the valley. It was great although in the first quarter I got a bit "lost" on the path then it went without hitches.

Conclusion, before Pastirski stan you did a bit differently than us last time, via "Pikina" variant you went. Tone, if you have some approximate photo of Križevnik wall I would need it. Mine are already completely drawn on velik nasmeh
