Jelenkamen

Description of peak:
Jelenkamen is a peak belonging to the northern Caravan Mountains above Jesenice, interesting especially for local hikers in the mountain pasture, as some of them choose it as their destination 100 times or more in a year. A few 10 metres below the summit, you will find a pleasant viewpoint, where you can look out towards Jesenice and the Ljubljana basin, and across the Mežakla plateau to Triglav. From here to the top, the trail is also protected by cable cars, which makes the trip even more interesting.
From Jelenkamn, the trail usually continues to the daffodil fields near Dom na Pristavi in Javornišek rovt.
