Kranjska Gora-Trenta 50.serpentina. We turn on a macadam road here and drive till a gate where we park on a parking lot. |
Path description: |
At the barrier we orient on the lower road, which we follow to the end. On the end of the road is a crossroad where we turn left (Prehodavci right). We walk on a mule-track from the first world war. It is wide just some where because it was destroyed by avalanches and storms. We get to the crossroads on 1500 metres height where we turn right (Luknja left). Path is easy altough it sometimes goes above the gulfs. The view from the path is beautiful. On the 2000 metres height the path from Zasavska koča hut joins and we continue in direction towards Tržaška koča hut on Dolič. The path is all the time very nice to the hut, which also has a winter bivouac. We head west from the cottage. From here on we walk on on the rocky path, which is very steep. After half an hour of walk the path gets flat and stops rising. We can see Triglav now. We head towards Triglav. The path goes by the floors (be careful). We get to the crossroad where the path from Vrata over Plemenice connects. We go over a scree to the rock wall. We go on the wall with protection which leads us to the mountain gorge under the notch. The path leads over the gorge and we get to the Triglav notch. From here on we walk on a good protected path. Just a few more steps and you're on top. |
