Access to the starting point:
At the traffic lights just before Trbovlje, if you are coming from the route of Ljubljana, turn right in the direction of Kuma. If you are coming from Trbovlje just after Trbovlje, turn left at the traffic lights towards Kum. Follow the road, which climbs steeply, through the village Dobovec to Lontovž, where you park in the parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the asphalted road into the forest. After a 10-minute walk, the footpath to Kum branches off to the right.
We continue along the road, which climbs moderately. Then soon the asphalt runs out and we reach a small clearing where the road makes a sharp right turn and then goes into the forest again. Shortly afterwards, we reach a large meadow, from which it is not far to the top. The road then goes into the wods once more for a short time, and then passes a chapel in a large meadow, leading to the summit of Kuma.
