Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Brezovica, then continue in the direction of Dobrova (Dobrova can also be reached from the direction of Šentvid via Podutik and the pass Preval) and Polh Gradec. When the Gradaščice valley narrows, you will reach a crossroads where the signs for Hruševo direct you to the left. Immediately after leaving the main road we are at the Kramarjev hram inn, where our route begins. As only guests are allowed to park at the inn, we have to park somewhere else (one of the options is to drive above the village).
The starting point can also be reached from the direction of Polhov Gradec.
Path description:
From the Kramarjev hram inn and pizzeria, continue along the asphalt road that crosses the Gradaščica River and begins to climb gently. Continue along the main road for a while, then at the junction where the main road turns left downhill (there are signs for the Karmen hairdressing salon at the junction), continue uphill to the right. The road continues past a few more houses and then you arrive above the village, where there is a small parking lot on the left side of the road.
At the beginning of the parking lot, the road forks off to the right cart track, which after a few metres splits into two parts. Take the top left cart track and then, once in the woods, continue left once more on the initially still quite wide path. The path soon turns into a dense forest through which it climbs moderately. At several crossroads there are arrows in the trees to help you find your way, but otherwise the path is unmarked (at crossroads we usually choose the path that climbs or is the best trodden). A little further on, another relatively well-trodden path joins us from the right, and we continue along a gradually steeper path. The trail has a few more switchbacks higher up, where you have to be careful, and then you climb through the forest and the blueberry bushes to a relatively well-visited summit, in the middle of which there is a registration box and much more.

Pozdravljam opis poti v Vrhe! Informacije dopolnjujem še z možnostjo dostopa z avtobusom. Zdaj se v smer Polhov Gradec in Šentjošt lahko peljete z vozovnico mestnega avtobusa Urbana. Vozni red za smer Polhov Gradec (če se v Vrhe odpravite iz opisane smeri Hruševo), je objavljen na povezavi: http://www.lpp.si/sites/default/files/lpp_vozniredi/MPP/Linija51.pdf . Izstopite na postaji Brvičar. Če pa se v Vrhe odpravite z Dobrove, se lahko peljete z avtobusom za Polhov Gradec ali za Šentjošt (http://www.lpp.si/sites/default/files/lpp_vozniredi/MPP/Linija55.pdf ). S tega avtobusa izstopite na Dobrovi. Lahko greste po eni strani dol, po drugi gor. Opozoriti pa vas moram, da omenjena avtobusa ob nedeljah ne vozita, pa tudi ob sobotah jih ni prav veliko. kako to misliš točno? Kaj zdaj spada ta linija v mestni promet?

wolphgang - po režimu plačila ti dvi progi zdaj spadata med mestni potniški promet, Plačate z Urbano (ali z modernejšimi mobilniki) - enako kot na vseh progah mestnega prometa. Prevoz do Dobrove + nekaj nadaljnjih postaj, vključno s Hruševim, spada v cono 1 in velja enaka cena kot po mestu. Do bolj oddaljenih postajališč (od vključno Hrastenic dalje) velja cona 2 (za ceno enkratnega prevoza vam zaračunajo 1,80 €).
Bistveno manjša pa je frekvenca avtobusov. Da zna biti ta informacija pomembna, sem pomislila, ko sem pred dnevi v knjigi vtisov prebrala zapis: 'Takoj, ko sem izvedel, da se na Dobrovo lahko peljem z Urbano, sem se odločil za izlet v Vrhe'. Domačini namreč rečemo v Vrhe in ne na Vrhe, kot bi bilo logično.

hvala za informacijo nacka. , bom moral zdaj v kratkem v Vrhe, nazaj grede se bom pa ustavil v Broadway-u in Aljažu  na zdravje!
