Monte Santa Maria Tiberina (PG) is a characteristic medieval village located on the green Umbrian hills among centuries-old chestnut woods and breathtaking landscapes. From here it is possible to admire the nearby Tuscan valleys up to the Apuan Alps and the Gran Sasso d’Abruzzo on clear days. Walking along the cobbled streets of the village among ancient stone houses, through arches and vaults, one reaches the castle and the church of Santa Maria, from which the municipality takes its name.
