Hochsteller

Description:
Hochsteller is 3098 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 9 km east-northeast from the center of St. Jakob - San Giacomo and 11 km northwest from the center of Oberlappach near the border with Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Furtschaglhaus, located 3km east. Closer is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak, which is located 1.4km to the south-southwest. 1.6 km southeast from the summit there is glacier Rötkees, 1.8 km south-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Grießferner. The peak is located southeast of the valley Zamser Grund.
