Hochferner - Gran Vedretta is 3470 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 9 km northwest from the center of Oberlappach and 9 km east from the center of St. Jakob - San Giacomo and 1.0 km northwest of peak Hochfeiler - Gran Pilastro. The nearest mountain hut is Hochfeilerhütte, located 2km south-southwest. Closer is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak, which is located 1.7km to the northwest. 0.5 km north from the summit there is glacier Grießferner, 0.5 km west from the summit there is also glacier Hochferner.
