Hahnenkamm

Description:
Hahnenkamm is 3209 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 11 km south-southwest from the center of Krimml and 11 km south-southeast from the center of Gerlos. The nearest mountain hut is Richterhütte, located 3km southeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 3 km northeast of the peak there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 1.1 km west from the summit there is glacier Zillerkees, 1.8 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Schönachkees. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Wildgerlostal.
