Description:
Südliche Zillerscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3010 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 0.4 km north-northwest of peak Rainbachspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Richterhütte, located 1.6km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 2 km south-southeast of the saddle there is lake Eissee. 0.6 km south from the saddle there is glacier Hohenaukees, 4 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Rauhkofelkees. South-southwest of the saddle is the valley Zillergründl.
