Description:
Plattakopf is 2213 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.0 km south-southeast of peak Sauwipfel. The nearest mountain hut is Schlüichalm, located 3km east. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 5 km northeast of the peak there is lake Eissee. 2 km north from the summit there is glacier Rauhkofelkees, 6 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hohenaukees.
