Description:
Winkelkopf is 2857 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schlüichalm, located 3km southeast. bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is a bit further away. 3 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Eissee. 2 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Rauhkofelkees, 4 km north from the summit there is also glacier Hohenaukees.
