Marchsteinjöchl

Description:
Marchsteinjöchl is a saddle at an altitude of 2770 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Schlüichalm, located 4km southeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 3 km northeast of the saddle there is lake Eissee. 1.0 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Rauhkofelkees, 4 km north-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Hohenaukees. The saddle is located above the valley Zillergründl.
