Description:
Gamsspitz is 2682 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.1 km southeast of peak Rauchkofel - Monte Fumo. The nearest mountain hut is Schlüichalm, located 4km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte. 4 km northeast of the peak there is lake Eissee. 1.4 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Rauhkofelkees, 5 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Hohenaukees.
