I set off on the "Path of Sovereignty" from Pišečki Castle.
The path is circular and marked with special markers. At the "Velika bukev" saddle we reach the hunting hut, from which it is another 10-15 minutes walk to the summit. The entire path is in the forest, so there are no views except right below the summit, where it opens towards Sljemen.
From the summit back past the hunting hut towards Kerin's monument, from there along the asphalt road to the church of St. Jedert and further in the direction of Pišeč to the starting point.

From the place Tribanj by the Adriatic highway starts an easy marked path to Zavrata. We encounter the first markers on the lamppost by the main road. The path first goes between houses on asphalt, then transitions to a gravel road, then to a trail. The first 250 meters of elevation are a bit steeper, then the path levels out. There follows another similar ascent, after which the path goes to a mountain meadow and we already see the roof of the shelter from afar. All together about 700m of ascent and approximately 3 hours of moderate walking. Everywhere there is plenty of flowers and herbs, on the way back to the valley beautiful views of the sea.

Boč is covered in snow. On top there's a good meter. Ascent via Balunjača. Here so much snow that even trekking pole too short, and steepness under rock...., not recommended until snow settles. On top Siberia, at least the lookout tower looks like it. So much ice and rime on tower I've never seen.
Descent on east side (also better for ascent).

Yesterday we visited Blegoš. Village Leskovica was start and end of the hike. We went past mountain guard shelter at Jelenci and past hut below Blegoš to summit Blegoš. Meadows on top in full bloom, good views, even better snack at hut. In short, no special features and nicely spent day.

Wonderful Soriška planina, especially in winter time. Weather perfect, no wind, sun, almost too warm,... and great views.
We circled the peaks around the planina from Možic to Dravh. Snow won't run out for a long time.

"Garmont" also in our plan was a circular route. But on the way I learn that the path isn't trodden and there's lots of fallen trees there. So we decided to return the same way.

At Črnivec it's crowded, barely found parking. The path led us to Kranjska Reber (Kašna Planina Peak) and from there descent to the pasture to the shepherd's hut. Along the way we met quite a few touring skiers and hikers. No wonder, when the weather is so nice, it can't get better.
Paths are well trodden, didn't need winter gear. Return the same way.

Today from Podmeja Pass to Mrzlica. Sunny weather offers nice views. Below Homič the windy fun begins. Wind from all sides, snow drifts into piles, real Siberia. Today the peak deserves the name "Icicle" more than Mrzlica. A few photos at the top and back to warmer places.
Most of the path is icy, so small crampons are welcome, especially on descent.

Dear "georgia", "Roman 29" and "ewxannabe"
It's not all as black as you see it. Go to the terrain - to this path, and you'll realize that most of the marked hiking path runs where they made the cross-country track.
I think there's enough space for hikers and cross-country skiers. If someone looks for a needle in a haystack, they'll surely find it.

From Rogla to Lovren Lakes in true winter idyll. The path is well trodden and hardened especially where the cross-country tracks run.
For equipment you only need a camera and good mood.
The weather rewarded us with wonderful views from Kamnik Alps, Triglav to Snežnik and Gorjanci.

We started and also finished the path below Dom na Smrekovcu. Hut closed, path snowy and also muddy. On top of Smrekovec already looking for hats and gloves. Some photos, then hurry along the ridge towards Komen. Someone had gone before us and eased orientation. Krnes peak not yet visited, so we don't go there either, but along the lower marked path towards Komen. Where snow is drifted, you sink to your behind, where less it's slush. Komen top also wrapped in fog, so we go to the chapel.
After five hours walking we arrived soaked back at the start.

"Mornar", we had our own bus transport, I think it was with 35 seats.

Yesterday we were on Mangart. We went to the top via Slovenian, descent via Italian route. Paths and protections are in good condition. Weather was favorable and offered nice views, and mists weren't lacking either.

Yesterday we hiked the circular route to Spik. Approach via what I consider the easier path past the hut in Krnica, descent via Kačji graben. In the lower part of Kačji graben (forest) the path is slippery, so you really have to watch your step. Weather was nice, views even nicer.
Before the end of the hike we also visited Bedančeva hut. We got lucky and saw him on breakvelik nasmeh.

We started a two-day ramble around the Krn range in Lepena. Already at the parking lot there was a crowd, on the path to Krn Lake there were also many hikers. From the lake onwards to Krn it was less crowded. The weather forecast was excellent, but a thunderstorm caught us at the summit or at the hut. Soon the sun shone again and on the way back we climbed the summit once more, then along the ridge back to the valley. We overnighted in the hut at Krn Lake, next morning descended to Lepena.

We also ran into the mentioned closure above, but made it to the parking via the detour gravel road. We headed to the valley towards Mežica, where the road is OK.
But we did a quite long path all the way to Bistriška špica and back. Almost 8 hours with breaks for 18 km path and 1400 elevation gain accumulated. The sun was scorching sad look,...
Full praise to the staff at the hut under Peca for very tasty food,...

Today we visited Olševa. We park at Sv. Duh, from where we go across the border to the neighbors to the big gates and windows. On the Austrian side there is quite a bit of fallen trees, but it's passable. After yesterday's rain it's quite wet and slippery today. We continue steeply up the unmarked trail to Obel kamen, then along the ridge to Govca. We return via the lower trail past Potočka zijalka to the starting point.
