Visit them once in May or June. Then it's fairytale-like.

Yesterday a bit above Soriško planino on the Možic - Šavnik - Slatnik - Lajnar - Dravh path.
Expecting a thick snow cover we took snowshoeszadrega, but there is little snow, on the ridge blown almost to the ground. It seems that not much snow fell in this part of Slovenia, because they are still making artificial snow.velik nasmeh
All paths are normally passable, except from the junction to Šavnik we were the first hikers to the top and back, on the way back through the forest we practiced a bit with snowshoes.jezik
On all peaks except Slatnik, it is currently possible to stamp as well.mežikanje
Otherwise a really warm day surrounded by beautiful views.nasmeh

Yesterday on the peaks above Soriško planino. Flowers are waking up, I recommend good footwear as in Bohinj and surroundings it's been raining every single day for a month already.

Fed up with valley fog we headed to Soriška planina. But lo and behold, not even a millimeter of snow in Zgornja Sorica. What now, was it the right decision at all? Surprised we found the snow line very sharply set this time. Good 200 m higher plenty of snow nasmeh.

Right away we put on snowshoes and went to Dravh as first peak. Then visited neighboring Lajnar and continued snowshoeing the ridge with excellent base. After descent to saddle Slatnik came, shortly after Možič, then plunged into untouched white. Pure pleasure velik nasmeh. So until former barracks where we rejoined packed trail. It brought us to ski area and loop soon closed. We'll come again …
The parking lot is still deserted, with a beautiful daybreak in the background :)1
We immediately put on snowshoes and set off past Brunarica onto the path2
We are early, so we continue towards the first peak along the ski slope3
First is the easternmost, Dravh4
The ascent steepens with beautiful views. The basins are under a thick blanket of fog5
Towards Triglav a wonderful day has also dawned6
View in the direction of continuation7
First we must descend to the saddle …8
Then follows a steep ascent to Lajnar9
Summit section with remains of the Alpine Wall10
View into the snow-free valley11
We two have plenty of snow, as well as beautiful views12
Weiterhin halten wir uns am Grat, da er leichter für Schneeschuhe ist13
Here we will turn onto the lower traverse14
Uncomfortable, hard and narrow15
Winter idyll ….16
We walk our own path. Direction saddle, then left towards Slatnik17
Right after the bend the wind starts to blow. Tick tock we are at the top18
On the opposite side we plunge into powder snow. Despite snowshoes it sinks deeply19
Winter, white winter ….20
Towards Možic we follow a lonely ski track21
At the summit which we leave immediately because of the wind22
Now we break our own trail so we adjust the snowshoes for descent23
Pure pleasure :)24
Up down all around …25
It's not easy but nice weather and plenty of snow keep morale high26
We have no real goal just enjoying :)27
This will be Kor yet another of the numerous peaks28
We're already at the former military barracks now a fully fenced shepherd's residence29
A little more and it won't be cold anymore30
Hmm where did the fog come from ?31
The ski slope also quickly lost the sun.32
We are already in the lower part.33
The parking lot is ahead of us. This time it's full to the brim.34
GPS track. We covered 7 km and 700 m of elevation gain.35

The remains are from the Rapallo border and not Rupnik's mežikanje

I think it is the Rupnik Line, which was intended to stop the Italians at the crossing of the Rapallo border mežikanje

Those remains above Soriska planina (Lajnar, both Slatnik, Možic, intermediate barracks now sheepfold, and more up to Vrh Bače....) are the Alpine Wall or Vallo Alpino, i.e., the Italian version of the Rupnik Line. All listed also stand on the once Italian side of the Rapallo border. Otherwise, there are signs at most of those listed as part of the themed path.

Due to the importance of Soriska planina, the Italians explicitly achieved getting it and their territory there stuck out somewhat. The border thus came from Baška grapa along the southern slopes of Sp. Bohinj mountains to Dravh, the last meters of the road from Sorica (obviously, the one from Bohinj was built only after the war) as today's parking lots at the chairlift and draglift were literally on the border, then the border somehow past Šavnik went westwards again so that Bohinj was still on the south side... In detail at https://www.rapalskameja.si/zemljevid-in-podatki/ Border stones (the main one was at Dravh) I think there are none left today in this area.

Rupnik Lines were usually not built right at the border. If going from Soriska along the marked path to Ratitovec, some smaller bunkers of the same or similar template are noticeable. The first is somewhat hidden left of the path in the forest shortly before the path under Kremant last leaves the forest, one is photogenically placed where the path from Sorica or Danj joins, some are found a bit below the summit of Altemaver if going along the path that bypasses it, two not so nice ones are also at Gladki vrh right above Krekova koča. All that I know, I have also marked on maps based on OSM, e.g., Mapy.com

Railway domes on Lajnar and Možic are part of the Italian Alpine Wall and at the same time the highest-lying in Slovenia. This time checked at a more reliable source than before (link). @jerque is right nasmeh.

Nice that one learns something like this and recognizes one's own mistake. The quite familiar Ratitovec misled me with its Rupnik Line, and without checking I automatically thought it was the same project.

Winter conditions, I used all technical winter equipment. Snowshoes are not necessary.
