Hello!

I'm wondering where the stamp of the couriers' and signalmen's path for Postojna Cave is located? On the internet and in the trail guide it says that the stamp is in a box next to the last kiosk at the cave entrance. On Saturday 17.3. though, I and one colleague searched literally every corner between the kiosks and the cave entrance, but didn't find either the box or the stamp. I also asked at the cave mansion, at the ticket office, at the souvenir shop... nobody had a clue?! Some tourist workers practically heard for the first time that it even exists... shame! PD Postojna doesn't know where it is either... so I'm turning to you for help!

First hand as guardian of mountain nature, I'll briefly present the issue of driving snowmobiles and cross motorcycles in the Smrekovec area, which has been an unresolved problem for several years. That's why the Smrekovec nature conservation association was established, but due to inadequate legislation it can't solve it alone, let alone prevent driving in such a large area. Let's look at a nice example: if we see someone driving in a protected area, they usually have a helmet and an unregistered motor vehicle... how to file a report?? We usually manage to describe the vehicle, but identification of the person ends there... Inspections aren't carried out at all, so... as long as the legislation is like this, we can't do anything about it... If an inspector does catch someone, the fine is so miserable it's not worth the paper! The EU is already threatening fines because there's no control over Natura 2000 areas, not just here, but elsewhere in the country too... So, the state is responsible!!! It might be somewhat limited if there was willingness from municipalities and also mountaineering societies bordering Smrekovec, and especially the keeper of the Smrekovec Hut, to raise awareness and call via media or info points for environmental care, since nothing is said about it. Except on this forum, for which I thank you for opening this topic, only this way there's hope for improving this issue. Thanks everyone and best regards from the valley under Smrekovec!

Has anyone hiked to Bela peč these days via pl.Javornik or Konjščica?

Today Jerebikovec finally came around. Completely different conditions than previous ones, path fully frozen and icy. Crampons were just right. On the return, the lower part was already slushy. The path is really steep, but summit view rewards the effort. Stamp was in place. Thanks Parkeljc and buddy for breaking trail to the plateau edge viewpoint, truly breathtaking. Nice tour! LP

Has anyone been to Jerebikovec from Mojstrana after this snowfall? What are the conditions? Is the path exposed to avalanches?

Risto, I assume you haven't been to these parts yet, I recommend visiting Golava, then it'll all be clear to you...

Locals use the name Golava for the hill, Goljava is a hamlet on the eastern side of Golava. So, the peak is named GOLAVA and nothing else. Historically many atlases had quite a few errors with naming various peaks, this one is no exception. LP

I'd like info if there's a stamp on this summit?

Today I visited Brinjeva gora from Oplotnica. The information I got from skala123 is completely correct, the path is exemplarily marked. On the climbing Boštjan path considerable caution is needed, as rocks are wet and lots of leaves on them. Otherwise nice circular path, all together in good 3 hours!
