Zgornji Plot is 1713 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 5 km south from the center of Bodental/Poden and 6 km northwest from the center of Podljubelj near the border with Slovenia. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Zelenici, located 0.7km south-southwest. A little further is Tinčkova koča. The peak is located southwest of the valley Loibltal.
