Begunjska vrtača is 1994 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 1.0 km east of peak Veliki vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom na Zelenici, located 1.2km northwest. Tinčkova koča is a bit further away. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Loibltal. The peak is located Begunjščica.
