Strmec is 524 meter high peak. The peak is located in country Slovenia 2 km southeast of peak Velika Vremščica. The nearest mountain hut is Okrepčevalnica, located 4km northwest. A little further is bivouac Koča pri Lipi. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Vipavska dolina. The peak is located above Kras.
