Sveti Socerb (Artviže)

Description of peak:
The Church of St. Socerbo is situated on a hill overloking the village of Artviže, which is the highest peak in Brkina with its 817 m. The church, which was built in the 17th century, offers views of Vremščica, the Vrem valley, the Matarsko Podolje, Slavnik, and in good weather, views as far as Julian Alps, Karawanks and the Kamink Savinja Alps. The registration box and the stamp are located slightly below the summit, in the middle of the village Artviže, where there is also a larger NOB monument.
