Štantov grič is 496 meter high peak. The peak is located 0.6 km east from the center of Smrečje and 1.2 km west-northwest from the center of Podlipa. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na Vrhu Svetih Treh Kraljev, located 3km west. hunting cottage Lovska koča (pod Malo Grmado) is a bit further away. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje.
