Lavrovec is 890 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.7 km northwest from the center of Smrečje and 3 km north from the center of Praprotno Brdo. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na Vrhu Svetih Treh Kraljev, located 1.8km southwest. A little further is hunting cottage Lovska koča (pod Malo Grmado). The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Ljubljansko barje.
