Description:
Smrekovec is 790 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.0 km north-northeast from the center of Praprotno Brdo and 1.2 km west-southwest from the center of Smrečje. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na Vrhu Svetih Treh Kraljev, located 1.4km west-northwest. bivouac Petelinova Bajta is also relatively close. 0.7 km north-northwest of the peak there is lake Malo jezero. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Ljubljansko barje.
