Description:
Stacklwand is 2838 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 0.8 km west-southwest of peak Tschigat - Gigot. The nearest mountain hut is Lodnerhütte - Rifugio Cima Fiammante, located 2km west-northwest. Closer is bivouac Dr.-Eugen-Guido-Lammer-Biwak, which is located 1.8km to the northeast. 3 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. 9 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Vinschgau - Val Venosta.
