Kleiner Tschigat is 2937 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 0.1 km northeast of peak Tschigat - Gigot. The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhaus Hochgang - Rifugio Casa del Valico, located 2km east-southeast. Closer is bivouac Dr.-Eugen-Guido-Lammer-Biwak, which is located 0.9km to the northeast. 2.0 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. 9 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Kamltal.
