Schreckwand is 2505 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 1.1 km west-southwest of peak Weiße Wand - Croda Bianca. The nearest mountain hut is Chemnitzer Hütte - Rifugio Porro, located 1.7km north-northeast. Malga Valzara is a bit further away. 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro, 5 km north-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Westlicher Nöfesferner - Vedretta di Neves Occidentale. The peak is located southeast of the valley Schlegeisgrund.
