Schartl is a saddle at an altitude of 2378 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 2 km east-northeast from the center of Lappach - Lappago and 2 km east from the center of Oberlappach. The nearest mountain hut is Chemnitzer Hütte - Rifugio Porro, located 4km north-northwest. A little further is Malga maso di mezzo. 7 km north-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Östlicher Nöfesferner - Vedretta di Neves Orientale, 7 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Westlicher Nöfesferner - Vedretta di Neves Occidentale. East of the saddle is the valley Tauferer Tal.
