The nearest mountain hut is Lodnerhütte - Rifugio Cima Fiammante, located 3km east. Rabensteinerschupf is a bit further away. 6 km north from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner. The peak is located northeast of the valley Schnalstal.
