Großschrottner

Description:
Großschrottner is 3022 meter high peak in the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 8 km northwest from the center of Partschins - Parcines and 8 km southwest from the center of Pfelders - Plan. The nearest mountain hut is Lodnerhütte - Rifugio Cima Fiammante, located 2km south-southeast. A little further is bivouac Dr.-Eugen-Guido-Lammer-Biwak. 6 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. 5 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Gurgler Ferner. East of the summit is the valley Kamltal.
