Oberplattkopf

Description:
Oberplattkopf is 2789 meter high peak and is part of the Verwall Alps. The peak is located 4 km north from the center of Ischgl and 6 km west-southwest from the center of Kappl. The nearest mountain hut is Niederelbehütte, located 2km northeast. A little further is Kartellhütte. 1.7 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Kartellferner, 5 km west from the summit there is also glacier Großer Kuchenferner. The peak is located southeast of the valley Moostal.
