Monte Piave

Description:
Monte Piave is 2135 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located 3 km northwest from the center of Erto and 3 km east from the center of Castellavazzo. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Cava Buscada, located 1.9km northeast. bivouac Ricovero Casera Galvana is also relatively close. 3 km southeast of the peak there is lake Lago del Vajont. East of the summit is the valley Val Cimoliana.
