The nearest mountain hut is Scheiben Alm, located 3km west-northwest. bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte is a bit further away. 5 km south from the summit there is glacier Futschölferner, 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Madlenerferner.
