Leiterspitz is 2375 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Sarntal Alps. The peak is located 4 km northwest from the center of Reinswald - San Martino and 5 km north-northeast from the center of Astfeld - Campolasta. The nearest mountain hut is Kesselberghütte - Rifugio Valcanova, located 6km west-southwest. A bit closer is Villa Alpenblume, which is located 4km to the west-southwest. 6 km northeast of the peak there is lake Durnholzer See - Lago di Valdurna.
