Hochwart is 2454 meter high peak with a cross and a summit register and is part of the Natural Park Gruppo di Tessa. The peak is located 4 km southeast of peak Rötenspitz - Punta Rossa. The nearest mountain hut is Faglsalm - Malga Fagls, located 2km northeast. A bit closer is Untere Obisellalm, which is located 1.1km to the northeast. 4 km west of the peak there is lake Langsee - Lago Lungo. The peak is located above the valley Kamltal.
