Hochalt - Monte Alto is 3263 meter high peak in the Ötztal Alps. The peak is located 3 km south of peak Ramudlakopf - Cima Ramudla. The nearest mountain hut is Oberetteshütte - Rifugio Oberettes, located 7km north. A little further is bivouac Wetterhütte. 3 km north from the summit there is glacier Ramudelferner - Vedretta di Ramudla, 4 km north-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Lagaunferner - Vedretta di Lagaun. The peak is located in the valley Vinschgau - Val Venosta.
