Description:
Schlegeisscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 3082 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located on the border between the country of Italy and the country of Austria. The nearest mountain hut is Hochfeilerhütte, located 3km west-southwest. A little further is bivouac Hochferner-Biwak. South-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Gliederferner - Vedretta del Gran Pilastro, 0.9 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Schlegeiskees. The saddle is located above the valley Schlegeisgrund.
