The nearest mountain hut is Zwickauer Hütte - Rifugio Plan, located 3km west-southwest. Closer is bivouac Rauhjoch Biwak, which is located 1.5km to the north-northeast. 2 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Gaisbergferner, 3 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Westlicher Seeber Ferner.
