Description of mountain:
Veliki Oltar is a mighty mountain with no marked path to the summit, making it a highly sought-after goal for mountaineers who enjoy off-trail routes. Not everyone can reach it—at least grade II climbing is required, even if only for a few metres. Finding the route is also challenging, though cairns mark the way. Oltar thus delivers exactly what one seeks: beautiful views, peace, wilderness, and the satisfaction of a conquered summit. The peak has a registration box.
