Bivak na Jezerih

Description of bivouac:
The Bivak na Jezerih bivouac is located on the edge of the Na Jezerih plateau. This plateau once supposedly held a lake that is now gone except briefly during heavy rain. The bivouac is surrounded by the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, such as Rokavi, Oltar, Dovški Križ, the slightly lower Šplevta and Mali Matterhorn, and across the Vrata valley, Slovenia’s highest peak Triglav. The bivouac has three sleeping places and a small table.
