Sveti Križ (Gaj nad Mariborom)

Description of church:
Sveti Križ is a church in the village of Gaj above Maribor. It is situated on the easternmost ridge of the Kozjak Mountains near the border with Austria. It is an interesting lookout point and some lesser-known peaks in the surroundings. It is the seat of a parish within the Archdiocese of Maribor. Before the Second World War the settlement was also called Sveti Križ, today Gaj nad Maribor.
