Sveti Andrej above Olimje

Description of church:
The church stands on the southern slope of Rudnica above Olimje. It was built in the late Gothic style in the 15th century. The bell tower makes it special in this environment. The bell tower is built in the Mediterranean style with an open belfry. It is the most eastern type of bell tower in Slovenia. Two bells ringing three times a day. In 2010 the church was restored. The feast of St Andrew is celebrated after this patron saint on the thirtieth of November.
