Rogatec

Description of peak:
Rogatec or Velika Rogac, also known as the Dead Monk, is a lookout mountain rising steeply above the Podvolovljek valley. From the top, where the cross and the wishing bell stand, there is a beautiful view of the neighbouring Lepenatka, the nearby Kranjska reber and Velika planina, and the central Kamnik Savinja Alps, where Ojstrica stands out. To the north, Raduha and the valley of the Savinja River below can be seen as if in the palm of one's hand. To the east, we have a wide view of Styria, and to the south, we can see the Menino mountain pasture rising above Gornji Grad in the vicinity.
