Passauer Hütte

Description of mountain hut:
Hut Passauer Hütte is located at an altitude of 2051 in the Leoganger Steinberge mountain group, next to the Mittagsscharte notch. The hut has a very nice view of the wider surroundings, and the nearby Birnhorn and Westliche Mitterspitze peaks are particularly visible. The hut was first built in 1891. It was destroyed by fire in 1947 and rebuilt in 1954. Later it was renovated and enlarged several times. The cottage also has a winter room with 6 beds.
