Description of peak:
Monte Piano (Toblacher Kreuz) is a 2305-metre-high mountain located on the north-western edge of the Monte Piana plateau. Near the summit there are a number of military caverns and trenches dating back to the First World War. The summit, on which the large cross stands, offers a very fine view of the Val di Landro, the Tri Cine and the Cristallo mountain group.
