Lomek (Lom)

Description of peak:
Lom, with its highest peak Lomek (884 m), is an peak of karst origin, located above the tourist and health resort of Topolšica. From the top, you have an excellent view of the nearby towns of Šoštanj and Velenje, with Lake Velenje and the Paško Kozjak Mountains in the background. To the north, there is a magnificent view of Uršlja Gora and Pohorje. Half an hour's walk away is the Žlebnik Homestead, where the poet Karel Destovnik - Kajuh fell during World War II.
