Grad Castle in Goričko

Description of peak:
Grad Castle in Goričko is one of the largest castles in Slovenia. First mentioned in 1208, the castle was well preserved until the early 20th century, when it began to deteriorate rapidly after World War II. Today, with the help of Phare funding, the castle is being restored and several of its halls have already been renovated.
Admission to the castle is €2.5 for adults, or €1.5 for minors and students (admission fee data from October 2010).
