Bobotov kuk

Description of peak:
Bobotov kuk is the highest peak of Durmitor. It is the highest peak of the XXXXXX range. The southern approaches are the shortest and the eastern approaches the longest. It is possible to combine different approaches. The most popular combination is to cross from the south, from the saddle Sedlo, over the summit and descend to Žabljak; you need two cars, a local taxi driver or a hitchhiker to do this.
As the undisputed local champion, Bobotov kuk has a huge following. Especially in summer, the shortest approaches from the south are frequented by columns of mountaineers, as well as less well-equipped and less technically capable tourists. In many textboks and in the minds of Montenegrins, Bobotov kuk is considered the highest peak in Montenegro, although there are two higher peaks in the Kolata (Prokletije) group on the Montenegrin-Albanian border, both bordering Albania. The old local name for Bobotov kuk is Ćirova pećina.
