Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Ski jumping hills

1. The camera is at 805 meters altitude near the ski jumping hills on the slope of Gudiberg peak. The image shows the mentioned hills where World Cup ski jumping events also take place. Besides the hills, Garmisch-Partenkirchen town and some nearby peaks are clearly visible. In 1936, this was the site of the Olympic Games. The opening and closing ceremonies took place at the end of the jumping hills.
