Lünersee

1. Lünersee lake is located in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg east of Schesaplana peak (2965m) near the Swiss border. In 1958 a dam was built on the lake further enlarging it. The lake is now up to 139 meters deep. The Douglasshütte hut is also located by the lake. The camera is located near the mentioned hut at the upper station of the Lünerseebahn cable car at 1980 meters altitude. The picture clearly shows the mentioned lake and numerous two-thousanders above the lake.
